Katrina “Kitty” McCaffery has spent most of her life creating—sometimes for a living, sometimes for a cause, and these days, often at the request of two very opinionated little girls.
Georgia-born and Florida-raised, Kitty discovered writing early. After her formal education ended in childhood, she continued learning independently and began writing for local newspapers as a teenager. What started with journalism eventually grew into more than two decades of work across entertainment, public relations, digital media, writing, music and creative development.
As founder of McCaffery Media Group, formerly Hollyweb Online, Kitty spent more than two decades working behind the scenes in entertainment and digital media. Her longtime clients included Krista Allen, Oliver Trevena, Brandon Maddox, JayeCane and Oscar Ponce, with several of those professional relationships growing into friendships that continue today.
Her work also developed a strong advocacy and service side. In 2010, she founded Shaken Not Stirred, created to help people understand different types of seizures and how to respond to them. She later co-founded Bullies Keep Out, working in anti-bullying advocacy before founding R.I.S.E. & STAND.
Kitty’s longtime work with Krista Allen extended across several of Krista’s businesses and creative ventures, including Super Excellent T-Shirts, Veggie Boom Boom and Muppit Dog. Kitty also served as Media Manager for Makeovers That Matter and later handled PR and social media for Food For Life India (FFLV).
In 2014, Kitty founded R.I.S.E. & STAND—Reach. Inspire. Support. Empower. The organization began with anti-bullying and grew to advocate for a number of causes, with much of its work centered on raising awareness about human trafficking and supporting people facing difficult circumstances.
Eventually, life became quieter. Her older children were growing up, the industries around her were changing, and home and family became increasingly central to her life. Then came Isabella and Elena—and, eventually, two little cows named Moo and Mooey.
Today, Kitty writes and creates alongside her daughters, whose ideas, personalities and sometimes very firm creative opinions help shape the adventures. Her work centers on faith, family, kindness, laughter and giving children a little corner of the world where childhood can simply be childhood.

Kitty built Hollyweb Online Productions and later McCaffery Media Group, working behind the scenes in publicity, digital media, branding, writing, music and creative development. Her career included long-running collaborations and projects with actors, musicians and public figures.
Shaken Not Stirred, Bullies Keep Out, Makeovers That Matter, Food For Life India and R.I.S.E. & STAND represent another thread that ran alongside the entertainment work: education, advocacy, mentoring and using media to help people.
